What do I love about this apartment ?

  • Location : just up from metro st paul, you can walk to almost every major attraction, including the Louvre, Musée D'orsay, Île Saint Louis, Nôtre Dame, Picasso Museum and the Bastille.
  • Size : it's one of the largest apartments you can find here - three full bedrooms and huge living room, perfect for a family vacation.
  • Light : if you want a bright, sun-filled space, this is it. Views are terrific, and light floods the apartment at all times of the day.

Who is the perfect guest for this apartment ?

  • Families : the floor plan is particularly good for mom and dad and three or four older children.

  • Two or three couples : this would work as well; we can move the single beds together and create one queen and two doubles.

Welcome to the latest addition to our group: the three bedroom Madame de Sévigné apartment in the Marais.

Location : This is a huge (120 square meter) , bright (windows everywhere), classic (great moldings) elegant French apartment, perched near the roof top (fourth floor) of a typical 1860's Paris Building -- the apartments are so large that there is only one for each floor.

Description : First enter into an elegant reception area, with original herringbone floors and plaster moldings. Then step into your HUGE bright living room and dining room perfect for entertaining a large family. The views are incredible - of the bustling street below, Rue St Antoine, and the baroque church of St Paul, just across from the apartment.

The master bedroom has a QUEEN (160 cm) sized bed, and brand new ensuite bathroom with shower and sink. This can be separated into two singles if requested.

The second bedroom, with its own fireplace, has two single beds (70 cm) perfect for older kids that refuse to share a bed!

The third bedroom has a double bed (140 cm) ideal for another couple or single guest. These can also be split if needed.

There are two bathrooms, one larger one with two sinks, shower and tub. The second smaller bathroom is the one just off the master bedroom. There is a separate room for the toilet off the main hallway (yes inside the apartment!).

Elevator : BRAND NEW and up and running!

Included with us : FULL CONCIERGE SERVICES - my concierge team meets you at the apartment when you arrive, and they are available 24/7 during your stay.

Our family of 4 enjoyed this Marais home away from home. We stayed in July 2015 and found the apartment to be very spacious for us all... especially for teenagers (16yr. boy & 13yr. girl) who need their own space. The apartment was on the 4th floor with a working elevator. Major bonus of having a Metro Station one block away. We had a seamless check-in and found the amenities to be perfect for a weeks stay. The city is very busy below so you feel very close to the city excitement at all times. We loved to keep the doors and windows open to hear the city day and night. For Paris this apartment has spacious bedrooms and the living room is comfortable. We hosted our family friends for lunch (Falafels from mi va mi) and had plenty of room around the large kitchen table. Wifi was spot on and a requirement for quiet content teenagers. The added treat of umbrellas made the final day of the Tour de France possible (amenities that count with Paris sprinkles) *Note the following right outside your, liquor store, fresh produce market, spectacular pastry, restaurants, Metro, news kiosk, chocolate shops, shopping. Thank you for a lovely stay.

My wife, three kids and our nanny stayed for 4 days at this fantastic apartment and we had a wonderful visit. The elevator was fast, the views were amazing, and most importantly the apartment is what they promise you it will be. I'm not a fan of surprises. We were there in July and the air conditioning worked well. However, the balconies are nice and we would often open up the doors and let the cross breeze flow through the living room. The wifi worked very well which was key for my kids. And the check-in process was fantastic and very thorough and Victor was incredibly helpful. The neighborhood is great and this is very close to a Metro stop as well.

Two couples and one daughter spent three nights here in early May.
The visit was wonderful and we all loved the apartment - especially the location! To be able to walk across the street ( literally) and buy bread, fruit, vegetables, wine, cheese from all the little individual shops - it was brilliant! There is a larger grocery store about a block and a half away.
The apartment is wonderful - very spacious and bright - lovely to feel like you are living in Paris. It is wonderful to have a glass of wine, stand outside on the balcony and watch the street below - and look directly across at the church - it was really special.
Use the concierge car service - it is wonderful and so easy. Saves the hassle of trying to get around Paris in cabs with Luggage.
We had been warned by Marc that the owners son was staying in another of their apartment's right above us and that we might hear him play - as he is a professional pianist. We did hear him and it was wonderful - We were treated to beautiful piano music every afternoon and we all loved it - and we wished we could have told them how beautiful it was. If you or Marc are talking to the owners/owners son - please let them know that it was wonderful - a real treat!!
Everything was as described - and if we are back in Paris - we will be calling you to re-book at that apartment again!!We appreciate all that you did - especially Marc - he was so helpful.

Stayed here with 3 other gals. This is in a wonderful location and the apartment is so spacious. Everyone that we worked with was so nice and helpful. Jim here in the US answered any questions that we had. We took them up on their suggestion that their driver pick us up at the CDG Airport...Good decision (4 ladies with luggage)...we also hired him to take us to the train station when we left. There is a concierge available, Marc, and he was so helpful...we even did a yummy gourmet tour with Marc and had a great time...I would recommend it. Notre Dame is not far and neither is the Louvre and D'Orsay if you like to walk...otherwise there is a metro very close. Way better than staying in a hotel!!! Don't miss the cheese shop across the street...a real delight! Marc will tell you all of the places to go!

Thank you again everyone involved for such a wonderful stay in Paris!

How wonderful to have had the opportunity to stay in the Camus for the second time in a year.
I had pleasure of staying in the apartment Sept 2013 with friends, (Boston Girls).
We all fell in love with the location and the apartment, I knew I was coming back the question was when. I had a milestone birthday coming up in August 2014 and thought what a better way to celebrate than to bring my family to Paris. There were three generations and we ranged from 14 to 82, the apartment is the perfect place to call home when in Paris. It is large enough so that everyone has space but yet lends itself to being together in the dining/living area. The cheese shop next door to ST Paul’s is the best in Paris. Wine and pastry shops are also very close by, it doesn’t get any better than the Marais. After a day of touring it was wonderful to return home to our apartment.
Working with Our Home in Paris staff is an experience in itself; talk about meeting your expectations, they go beyond. Everyone is helpful from the time of initial booking until you return home. High marks of course go to Marc, who for the second year was the point person; it was like seeing an old friend when I returned.
Marc also arranged for our driver Ivan, who took such good care of my sister who is 82 and uses a walker, Ivan picked us up and returned us to the airport and didn’t leave until he was sure we were settled. Certainly not expected but it made all the difference the day we departed, the airport was mobbed and I can’t imagine how we would have navigated without him. A gem for sure.
The perfect apartment and location for just about anyone who wants to visit Paris.
Jim, Karl, Marc and Ivan, thank you for your part in my celebration.

My family and I just spent a wonderful week at this beautiful apartment. The apartment is as lovely as shown in the photographs, but what you can not begin to imagine is how magical it feels when you throw open the windows in the living room and step out on the balcony and take in the view. We had five people staying in the apartment, including 3 young adults, and we had more than enough space for everyone. The apartment is very charming and comfortable. Our 14 year old daughter spent hours curled up in the window balcony reading, listening to the hustle and bustle below. In addition to the stunning St. Paul, there are great wine stores, bakeries, a cheese shop, and other conveniences across the street and wonderful restaurants and shopping close by. Many landmark attractions are close enough to walk to, and there is a metro stop a block away. One of the nicest parts of the trip was getting to know Marc Wolters, our concierge, who handled many of our arrangements, all of which were executed flawlessly. We spent a wonderful morning touring the gourmet markets with Marc, during which he educated us about the area and French cheese, and we had a wine and cheese and eclair/chocolate tasting. It was a highlight of the trip. All of our experiences with the apartment and its management were excellent. We did not want to leave. When we come back to Paris, we know exactly where we would like to stay!!!!

Our family stayed here in June and it was perfect! The apartment is exactly as described and so beautiful and spacious. My husband and I were there with our four girls and it was great to have so much room. The location is PERFECT - so close to the Metro, which was important with a 7 year old - and great shops, restaurants etc. all nearby. I was a bit worried when we booked because it sounded almost too good to be true - but it more than lived up to the our expectations. Jim and Marc were wonderful to work with and having Marc was a huge bonus - he made restaurant recommendations and reservations, answered questions, and arranged for a car to the airport. Book this place!!!!

Our party of 6 enjoyed our time in Camus the lovely french apartment located in our favourite district - The Marais. Marc our concierge was very welcoming and informative. We sent him a list of restaurants we were interested in dining at prior to our visit and he was able to secure booking for us which saved us time as our French is not perfect.
The apartment is very central to everything - the metro, local produce, markets and many of the major sights. Even though we overlook a busy street the apartment is surprisingly quite and not a problem for sleeping particularly after a long flight. We loved the central location and would recommend this apartment to a family.

We have been home a week now. Ready to go back!!! This apartment is the ONLY place to stay while in Paris. It is luxurious , spacious, immaculate, artsy and so conveniently located. The view of St Pauls from most every window is spectacular. We are 4 middle aged professional women who are all so thrilled with our experience. As much as we wanted to be on the go and see everything we enjoyed going back to our Paris home each eve! Can walk to all conveinences- choclatier- fromage- bakery- restauants, bars and Notre Dame!!! And Mark was great getting us settled in and setting up day trips to Normandy and Versailles- so professional!!! Highly recommend- just don't tell too many as we want to go back!!!!

This was my first experience renting an apartment. I must say I was a bit skeptical. But everyone involved with this apartment (Jim, Marc & Mathias) made the experience delightful. The apartment is in the best "neighborhood" location. What a view out the window with St. Paul's right across the street. The metro was close, taxis were close, many restaurants and the absolute best gelato a few blocks behind the apartment. We walked to Notre Dame most evenings, just because we could. The apartment was great, plenty of space, great views, quirky, creaking wood floors. We appreciated the curling iron, hair dryer, coffee maker, etc. Mathias was waiting for us when we arrived, he made himself available anytime, he provided us with super information concerning restaurants and metro lines/directions. The lift was perfect for my in-laws (in the 70's) - although a bit small. And while the AC units were on the loud side, they certainly cooled the rooms when the temps rose to the mid-nineties. As we toured around Paris, several times a day we thought they we certainly stayed in the best area, the best location. Thanks everyone for making our 5 days in Paris the most wonderful!
