Why do I love this apartment ?
It’s authentic, beautiful, bright, and very very quiet.
It's luxuriously furnished, really lovely.
It's in a great neighborhood, surrounded by museums, monuments, restaurants, unusual shops and the even more important BAKERIES!
It has a great layout - the second private bedroom and bath are perfect for the guests or kids or in-laws that need their own space, yet are still under your wing.

Who is the perfect guest for this apartment ?
A couple looking for a romantic week in the heart of Paris;
A family (up to 6) who wants a cost effective alternative to a hotel;
A family with children who would love to have their own space, leaving the larger apartment and bedroom to the parents.
A party of three where the third person is not sharing the big bed with the other two... (ok, I'll stop here...)

3 of us stayed in this apartment just after the new year. Jim and his team were excellent to work with and very helpful and friendly. Apartment was a welcome and comfortable place to relax after busy days of walking around the city. Great location and we look forward to staying again in the future. Bathrooms and bedrooms were great and kitchen was well stocked as we cooked dinner a few nights while we were there. We opted to book the chaffeur to the airport on our last day through OHIP and he was especially helpful - brand new van and made things very easy with lots of bags. Recommended!

Jim, Matthias and Marc were very helpful during the entire process. The apartment was just as advertised and a great place to stay in Paris. It is located in a great part of the Marais and had many wonderful shops within walking distance. Highly recommended.

My husband, adult son and I had the privilege of renting this property between Christmas and January 2nd. The detached bed and bath provided wonderful privacy for our son. I have been coming to Paris annually over the past 15 years and this was the most luxurious accommodation I've ever experienced. At the same time, I have never felt so at home while being away from home. The owner has considered every amenity and need a traveler might have in outfitting this apartment (American type washer-dryer, wash cloths (!!), electronic charging stations, cookware, etc.) The concierge patiently explained every appliance, device, and even the door locks. There is a handy reference binder regarding the apartment and the neighborhood and basics such as the Paris phone system and making calls to the US. The concierge is available within one click on the phone. This is a wonderful experience in Parisian living.

This wonderful apartment was the perfect home for us during our one month adventure in Paris. The bed was very comfortable, and the washer and dryer were invaluable, for we did laundry more than once during our stay. The detached bedroom is perfect for guests or children and is very private. You do have to exit the main apartment to get to the second bedroom, but this was not a problem for our guests. The living room was very comfortable, the bathrooms were well appointed and the apartment was clean and well maintained. There is a fantastic street market near the Bastille (Thursday and Sunday), and it was great fun to purchase ingredients for dinner and prepare a meal in the well appointed kitchen. We brought a computer with us and used the high speed internet connection to keep in touch with friends and family during our stay. Marc, our concierge, was very responsive to our questions, and helped arrange for a physician to come to the apartment when one of our party became ill. We used the Metro a lot during our explorations of Paris, and appreciated it being so close. During our stay we started referring to our apartment as 'home', as in "My feet are tired, I want to go home now." That says it all!

My family of 5 including 3 children ages 5, 8 and 11 spent 5 nights in this charming apartment. It's a wonderful area of the Marais that is very quiet yet close to the Metro and all the delicious foods of the neighborhood.

The team did a seamless job with booking, arrival, and departure. We were delighted with the wonderful amenities such as AC, washer and dryer, and all the necessary cooking supplies and appliances.

This apartment is fantastic - very comfortable and clean and a perfect location.

We miss it already!

Traveling abroad with the family can create anxiety about logistics. The "Our Home in Paris" team takes care of all those challenges, from a seamless booking process to arranging all the transportation and check-in coordination once you arrive at the apartment.
Their concierge service is really helpful in getting the most out of your Paris stay, both from the usual tourist attractions as well as tips and recommendations on navigating the wonderful neighborhood where you'll be staying. The after-dark tour of Paris was the highlight, the driver who transported us to and from the airport also showed us the City of Lights at night. Highly recommended.
The apartment setup was really great, with the separate bedroom next door perfect for our teenaged daughter to sleep off jet lag. The main part of the apartment is excellent for a couple, combining traditional charm with modern appliances, bathing facilities and amenities. The air conditioning was a plus during the hot July days and especially the modern washer-dryer complex that lets you cut down on your packing.
The entryway to the building disguises these charms, as can be the custom in Europe. The stairs are narrow and dark but navigable once we found the light switch!
The neighborhood is great for walking and there is a delicious bakery just steps away down the street. A grocery store around the corner provides necessities, though like us you will probably eat out for main meals. If you want to really feel like you experienced Paris as a Parisian, this apartment is highly recommended.

This is a long-overdue review/thanks to Jim and everyone at Our Home in Paris. Two summers ago, I took my then-7-year-old daughter to Paris, and we booked a VRBO apartment. Unfortunately, with three days left in our ten-day trip, the owner of the apartment informed us that she had double-booked her place and that we would need to leave the next day. I didn't want my daughter's lasting memory of her first trip to Paris to be of a 72-hour siege in a stranger's apartment, so I went online and sent out inquiries to various apartment rental companies, hoping that someone would have availability in July. The next morning I awoke to one email, from Jim: "working on it," followed by his cell number. By lunchtime, we were moving into the beautiful apartment on Cerisaie, meeting our lovely and helpful concierge, and feeling incalculable gratitude. A couple days later, on our drive to the airport (in a car arranged by Our Home in Paris), we got a call from the concierge that a bracelet had been found in the apartment -- my daughter's, a special souvenir. A week later it arrived at our home in a box, with a sweet note from the "bracelet" about how relieved it was to be reunited with its owner. A final happy memory, thanks to all of you.

My two adult daughters and I had the experience of a lifetime, spending 7 days in Paris and celebrating my birthday at the Eiffel tower. The apartment accommodations were extraordinary, with my own private bedroom. During the late evenings, I enjoyed reading and listening to music, while my girls held late night conversations and snacking. It was just the perfect setting for us - providing everything we needed and much more. The apartment was beautifully decorated and comfortable - we were able to get around in the fabulous neighborhood to all of the eateries, shops and historic attractions. Information provided by the concierge was priceless and his willingness to assist in our day to day adventures was unbelievable! It was a phenomenal experience - something the three of us will remember forever!

We just returned from a wonderful week long stay at this lovely apartment with our two teen daughters. The guest room was the perfect accommodation for them. They enjoyed the privacy and we enjoyed getting our day started earlier without disturbing them.

The apartment is just as in the photos. It is cozy, quiet, and comfortable. The kitchen has all you need for simple meal preparation. The other appliances ie: microwave, diswasher, washer and dryer make for a care free stay. There were umbrellas and electric adapters at the apartment for guests to use. There is also a book shelf filled with Paris resources.

Mathias and Jose were welcoming, kind, and so accommodating. We were reassured to have someone available if needed. Jose taking us door to door both ways was an incredible time saver.

We would recommend this apartment without hesitation and hope to return in the future.

When I dream of Paris, as I do often, I picture living in a place like this. It is the iconic Parisian apartment: antique beams on the ceiling, luxurious French decor, overlooking a quiet courtyard. It's like living in 19th century Paris with all of the modern amenities, including . We stayed here for 3 nights in early September with our 21-year-old son who slept in his own sunlit space just steps down the hall. From the moment I first inquired, the response was fantastic: Jim called me within minutes. Dinner and excursion bookings were made for us by the wonderful Concierge. He shared his favourite restaurants with us, and even counselled us on how to do the Eiffel Tower, despite tickets being sold out months ahead. All in all, an absolutely wonderful experience.

This was a perfect place to call home on our visit to Paris. The apartment is in an ideal location - just steps away from the Seine and Ile de la Cite Ile Saint Louis and in the heart of the fashionable Marais. The apartment is charming, warm and welcoming with so many local restaurants we would have never discovered if we weren't staying there. The apartment is extremely well-equipped with a nice kitchen for cooking. It's sunny and beds were incredibly comfortable. In terms of booking and on-site service, this went above and beyond expectations. Booking and preparations for the trip were so well-organized and welcoming and on-site we were given a local concierge, on-call for anything we needed. Lots of guidebooks too to peruse and plot out our stay. I couldn't recommend this apartment anymore!

Comment by Laura K.

The apartment was lovely and so well located. Comfortable beds, good shower, very functional kitchen. All of the modern amenities with the antique charm of beamed ceilings and antiques. Live like a local and don't miss 'Le Temps des cerises' on the corner. Highly recommend!

I have never written a review for anything in my life, but after our dealings with Jim and Marc I really wanted to express how fantastic our entire experience with them was. Right from the first enquiry and until we left we were made to feel very welcome and NOTHING was too much trouble. My partner had a very serious accident almost 2 years ago and we need to travel with a nurse. I guess you could say we felt 'safe' knowing that Jim and Marc had every single detail covered if we needed anything. And for us this is so crucial. Jim went way above and beyond what I could have imagined to make sure our time in Paris was absolutely perfect.
This place was exactly what we needed. We still had our privacy and our nurse was close by in the separate room (next door. The apartment is stunning and it was the perfect size. The decor is also beautiful.
Most mornings I would get up and go for a run down past the Louvre or to the Eiffel Tower. Everything is so close & easily accessible by the metro which is a 2 minute walk.
We visited Miss Manon most mornings for a delicious pastry. Sometimes we would indulge and share an extra. There is nothing that isn't spectacular in this patisserie, and we can speak from lots of experience. Make sure you go there.
We also enjoyed picking up some local produce and coming 'home' in the afternoon to enjoy cheese, meat, wine etc. The feeling of 'living in Paris' was exactly what we wanted. It did not disappoint.
We can't wait to come back and will be staying here again.

I think your company and service is amazing!!! I rented an apartment in Edinburgh so I had an experience to compare to--while they were nice, I had to meet them at offices that were not easy to locate, no one toured the apartment with me, I didn't know how to work any applicances (and they are different in Europe), didn't know when or how to take out trash etc. etc.

Your company and our experience was just outstanding---thorough efficient, effective. Traveling to a country where you do not speak the language has unique challenges. Without you, our vacation would have be much more stressful. I loved the little American extras that combined the best of both worlds and made me feel at home.

I was so impressed with our experience that I have already referred a business colleague to your company who will be traveling to Paris this upcoming year. In fact, PLEASE acquire some apartments in other cities (besides Atlanta) and I promise to be a customer where ever you have apartments.

Please tell Mathias, Marc and Josue---they were amazing and made the trip totally worth it.

My wife, sister and I stayed in the Cerisaie apartment for three nights and it exceeded our expectations. Say goodbye to hotels, this type of apartment is perfect. We really got a sense on "living" in Paris and Cerisaie and the support from Mathais was perfect.

Comment by Richard (Columbus, GA USA)

My wife and I just spent 8 days in Paris in the Cerisaie apartment and every detail was perfect! The apartment was very comfortable. We loved coming home after a day of sightseeing and relaxing in our Paris apartment with a glass of wine before going out for an amazing meal. The location is great too, close to the metro, cafe's, restaurants, bistro's, fromageries. I would not stay anywhere else if I were going back to Paris, it really made our stay in Perfect.

Comment by D&L (Boston, MA)

The apartment, amenities and excellent concierge service provided a perfect winter trip to Paris. Everything far exceeded our expectations--and we hope to return---soon!

Fantastic apartment in great location. Very convenient to Rue de Rossier (the Jewish area complete with kosher grocery and restaurants). Pictures of apartment are very accurate and reflect the apartment well. Our family of 5 used the apartment fully. Kids(13-21) stayed in main apartment and we parents enjoyed the separate bedroom. I hope we can find time (and money) to stay there again.

My partner and I had a last minute chance for a long weekend in Paris to see the "lights" and were lucky enough to find this available. We used only the main apartment but got to see the second bedroom and bath across the landing which attaches and would be perfect for larger number of guests. We took advantage of the car service / best 90 EUR we spent / driver met us as promised after a 9 hr flight from MIA and whisked us to the apartment where the concierge Mathias met us with keys and gave us instructions. We were connected to the internet in 2 minutes to finish up business and had all electronics charging on converters in no time. The pictures don't do this justice / a perfect blend of history and then a kitchen out of 2011 Sonoma Williams catalogue. The location is unbeatable / you walk out the door turn right or left and your at the Bastille and its Metro stop - or across the bridge to the Marais / another block and a half and your walking along the Siene / 10 minutes to the Tuileries and the Louvre / another 5 to the Gallerie Layfayette and Haussmann Blvd shopping / everything within walking distance or a easy Metro stop The apartment itself is a perfect place to return to at the end of a busy day / very quiet / you never hear a sound from the neighbors or outside on the street as it faces the courtyard. A new flat screen tv hidden in the wardrobe in the living room catches you up on whats happening outside this perfect space The suggestions for food given by the owners were "spot on" / the local restaurants superb / very busy on weekends but moderate pricing and wonderful selections. The local manager and concierge are on "speed dial" in your unit for any questions or suggestions. Their attention to details make all the difference in this wonderful "getaway" This property certainly lives up its description and then some / we look forward to going back again

We have just returned from Paris after staying for three weeks in the perfect apartment - clean, well designed and decorated, spacious, very close to two Metro stops, within an easy walk of a wide variety of food/ wine shops, and many sites and shopping areas are a nice stroll away. We quickly thought of this apartment as home because it is so comfortable. Arranging for the rental was seamless and Marc's on-site assistance was invaluable. We will definitely return to this apartment and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends.

Every aspect of this property works-- good bed, well decorated, all amenities with an honesty that makes it a pleasure. The apartment in Paris exceeded all expectations. Good knives, coffee and filters, salt and pepper, great linens, CLEAN, proper wine glasses, ... I could go on and on, discover for yourself!!! So WORTH it!

Comment by Caro (Münster, Germany)

Victor picked us up at the airport and wisked us away to our perfectly appointed Parisian home. It was just the two of us so we didn't use the extra bedroom. Juxtaposed to the apt. with a separate entrance, it would have been perfect for a couple of teenagers or young couple. Mathias met us at the door and ensured we had all we needed to roam the neighborhood, brought us the museum tickets we'd ordered on line and made himself available for the rest of our 3 1/2 day stay. The location is perfect, close to two metro stops, submerged in an endless variety of outdoor cafe's, restaurants, boulangeries, fromageries and for the shopper and art enthusiast; you've arrived. There is so much within walking distance and we recommend Camilles restaurant nearby. We spent a lot of time at the museums and sites with endless crowds and would arrive back at the apartment late afternoon feeling whipped and so grateful to be able to feel like we coud go "home" to our quiet comfortable space. Free calls to the states, wi fi, bottle of wine were great amenities. The bed was very comfortable and the living space a perfect place to relax and spread out. The online pictures are very accurate. No elevator meant we needed help with our luggage which we readily recieved. It was one of the hottest few days of summer and the A/C felt a little limited at night but it was adequate. We are sure to return to this property or one of the studios, have and will continue to recommend to all!

My wife and I along with a friend just stayed in the Cerisaie apartment and it was just perfect. We wanted the experience of living amongst the Parisians instead of being hotel tourists and we got it. The apartment was very comfortable, roomy enough for all three of us, and included kitchen facilities. Our friend stayed in the second room (right next door). It was a bit smaller but ample for him and included his own bathroom. The location was ideal. The neighborhood was near two Metro stations and had great restraurants, shopping, and groceries within walking distance. Sites such as Notre Dame and the Lourve were very close. We were able to stroll down to the Seine, about two blocks away. Marc was also very accomodating and answered any questions we had about Paris. We hope to do this again real soon.

Comment by Stephen (Avondale Estates, GA USA)

The Cerisaie apartment was wonderful! Marc was very helpful to us getting settled in and pointing out local stores, metro, and scheduling a taxi for the end of our stay. Very comfortable apartment. The washer/dryer were really nice to have. Kitchen was well appointed and easy to use. I can't think of anything to improve on. I would highly recommend this apartment for families of up to 6. Thanks! Mike
